Changing Business Paradigms
Recent activity regarding the government shut down has undoubtedly raised if not re-opened many people's questions about the role of the government and economy in our lives. Opinions are as diverse as the people who hold them, and what should be done is being debated all over the U.S. While I watch the news and ponder the propositions, and yes, maybe even fantasize about real change, I am reminded of some of Kai-Jo's core beliefs and original intentions.
Part of our story is to promote healthy life styles, values, and products, but we feel companies today can be so much more than merchandise. We feel we have a voice and a place in society, and that our very emergence is due to a need in the community that meets the needs of our company.
So what does this mean? That is exactly the question we pose to you this week. What do you expect from businesses these days? How do you think businesses have changed in the last 20 years, and in what ways would you like to see them change more?
